Went to the long awaited Giorgio Morandi exhibition opening last night at The Museo d’Arte. It is a really great show with about a hundred works on display including fascinating watercolors which I have not seen before. The only thing I could think of today is going back again and slowly studying every single piece of the show.
I also want to share the following video: a short interview with the exhibition curators Marco Franciolli* and Maria Cristina Bandera**.
The show runs until Sunday, July 1 daily (except Mondays) at Riva Caccia 5, CH – 6900 Lugano. For more details visit www.giorgiomorandilugano.ch

I’ve picked the best art exhibitions and fairs to see in Switzerland this upcoming spring/summer season. The list is quiet impressive: Pierre Bonnard in Basel, Flemish tapestries in Bern, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo in Lausanne, Dian Arus in Winterthur and much more.
